On Sunday, May 17, 2026, Zeag Media proudly marked its presence as the only media outlet at the official Haitian Flag Day ceremony, organized by CETSO in Ottawa, in celebration of the 222nd anniversary of the creation of the Haitian flag. This memorable event, held at the Sir John A. Macdonald Hall (144 Wellington St, Ottawa), brought together numerous personalities, community leaders, youth, families, and friends of Haiti around one shared symbol: our pride, our history, and our unity.

The ceremony began at 5:00 PM with a powerful moment of culture and emotion. Guest artist Jean Jean Roosevelt delivered a vibrant and inspiring performance that touched the hearts of everyone present. Host Peggy Civil ensured the smooth flow of the evening with professionalism and warmth, while the audience responded in large numbers to CETSO’s invitation to honor the blue and red colors that unite us.
