Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Calgary on Wednesday evening ahead of an official meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.
According to The Canadian Press, discussions will focus on key areas including defense cooperation, economic relations, energy partnerships, and Canada’s continued support for Ukraine’s reconstruction.
Following the meeting, President Zelensky is expected to address federal cabinet members gathered in Banff before continuing his trip to Toronto and North Bay.
