On Sunday, September 20, a U.S. military aircraft left Port-au-Prince carrying Joseph Félix Badio and 17 former Colombian military personnel, all accused in the assassination of President Jovenel Moïse.
The 18 men will now face federal justice in the Southern District of Florida. They are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
A total of 30 people have already been indicted in the case, while four men were convicted in May.
